Loma del Mar Memberships

In Loma del Mar ...

... no two homes are alike. Originally a trailer park of trailers and motorhomes with casitas (little houses), ramadas (covered parking) and bodegas (storage buildings) added, LDM eventually became a mix including full size luxury houses. People have been extremely creative while keeping the overall look of Mexican architecture and design. Almost all are ready for year around living or use as a winter retreat.

The Club has two sections

In the original area, when you buy a membership you are buying the improvements on the lot including the buildings and furnishings and have the exclusive use of the land for a specific amount of time which can be extended in increments much like a lease. This will entitle you to full use of the park and all its amenities. The newer, Estates section of the Park is designated as a Mexican Condominium where the land can be purchased and owned outright, with a Fideicomiso bank trust.

You're a member

In either section of the park you also become a member of the San Carlos Trailer Club (SCTC), the official administrators of the Park. The SCTC membership consists of the residents of the park with a Board of Directors elected by the SCTC membership. The SCTC hires the Park employees to provide security and maintenance for the membership and also bills the membership for maintenance costs and utilities.
